$5 says that the Arkham Knight is secretly the Joker.:ajbemused:

2831776 we'll find out in 4 months

2831782 We never saw Clayface's body. And after Clayface got axed there was a huge Flash and then Joker jumped out of the shadows.

I'm telling you. It's Joker.

.... Or Clayface.

One of the two.

I really want to know what this game has that warranted an M rating. I'll be looking forward what it has.

2831776 Rocksteady wouldn't do that. They've established that they're moving on from the Joker and bringing him back in the last game would just be cheap and it would rob Arkham City of its ending.

Clayface though. I don't know what to tell you about that one.

2831796 if you look at the 'Evening the Odds' trailer, you'd see a pretty realistic and very bloody bullet hole in a officers head. i don't think that's ever happened in a Batman game... or show... or movie before. i think this game is going to have a lot of bloody moments.

2831796 Why yes. Bringing back the Joker for the last game would make the ending of Arkham City a massive troll. An anger inducing pratical j- HEY WAIT A MINUTE!!

Better men then Rocksteady have tried to "move on" from the Joker. It never works ever.

Watch it happen. Be it in reality, as the main villain, or as just a Scarecrow hallucination, Joker WILL show up again.

2831802 From what I've heard, it's a scene or so in the game that causes the M rating to be there. Otherwise, same old violence as usual.

2831803 1. I think you're underestimating Rocksteady's capabilities. They have established themselves as more than capable at handling Batman. Hell, they're inventing a villain and people are okay with that, because it's them. Rocksteady won't screw this up.

2. In the broad sense, then yes, I do believe Joker will return. I believe Rocksteady will go with the approach that the Joker's death is causing Batman guilt and he might show up as a flashback to the last two games. And with Scarecrow in the mix, you're probably right in that regard. He'll probably will show up as a hallucination; but as the main villain, living and breathing in the flesh? I don't think that will happen. He will probably maintain some kind of presence in the game, but not a living one.
