So, hey all, it's been a while!
Despite not having update my story in a while I still see how I get favorites and likes, and seeing as how I haven't been a very good author I think it's about time I did something about it.
I'll be frank, I'm not the most active person and I haven't made written a lot for this story but I think it could use a rewrite.
Frankly, the main reason that got me into thinking this was when Jimmy The Grape was actually still part of LoHAV and it was a popular group, and it still somewhat is but it has fallen greatly from its golden age. In the last post he wrote he said how all LoHAV stories are unoriginal and everyone uses the same idea, and back then when I looked at my story it brought to me the harsh reality that I am on of those writers and it made me feel ashamed. As such, I was hesitant to even touch my story since I felt that it needed to be rewritten, and I had no idea how to do it.
Now though, after a lot of thought, I got an idea.
Previously, I was switching between present and past in an odd fashion.
This is going no-where so I am going to start the whole story over, but this time in chronological order and starting from when Ral Zarek arrives in Equestria.
There'll be no flashbacks or flash-forwards, and if there are it'd be few and far between.
So heads up, I'm gonna be working on the story again and things are gonna be different, MUCH different.
Again, sorry for being such a bad author to you guys, you all never really deserved to have to wait so long. :/
why the hell do people keep saying the LoHAV idea is unoriginal? the wholoe fucking idea behind it is that all these universes are similar, and yet different. the cause for the characters being there is (99% of the time) The Merchant, who enjoys messing with them the way he does. they're supposed to be 'unoriginal!' and that's just if you focus on the over-all idea! if you actually bother to read the stories, then each one is unique! why do people like this 'Jimmy The Grape' have to go and rain on everyone's parade?
mister author man, ignore the mister frowny face man! do the story the way you want to, when you want to! don't let other peoples ideas and feelings affect what you do. do something, or don't do something, because you don't want to.
lol I even told you it was unoriginal in the comments after reading the first chapter, at least, that the beginning was the same as another story
Glad to hear you haven't given up on this. You definitely have some interesting ideas here. A little more forward planning and a more coherent chronology will likely serve you well.

It's true that some part of this is due to Jimmy but I also feel like doing this because looking back at it, if I were to read it from someone's else's perspective for the first time, it seems confusing so I'm trying to clear things up.

Yeah, I think that was what I lacked in my first attempt, I just went with it with little thought. Now I have some form of plan as to where I want this to go.
I got bored of LoHAV before they stopped calling it Spells R' Us.
For time had forbade the many authors of the web favored to flourish to however experience its ever descending decline. For often the writers and publishers of stories with characters breathed anew and OCs dominating the opening and ending of stories now ever lessened. For I have arrived too late and am now in a time reminiscent of the Fall of Constantinople and the Fall of the House of Abbasids with its renowned but blazed House Of Wisdom.
