In case you're wondering...
School Daze, Chapter 9 - 1,158 words
The Three Hooves, Chapter 2 - 1,475 words
The Three Hooves, Chapters 3 & 4 - 2,438
Things are preceding apace. Yes, that means I have more written of the two later chapters; when I got my inspiration for the story a whole bunch of scenes came out, and I wrote them and put them in order as best as I could.
It'll be a busy work week, but I'm getting it done.

Working on three chapters of a story at once? Wow. How do you manage it? I mean, I know where I want to take a story, but I would end up with a self-contradicting mess.

Imagine if you're righting about Batman, Superman, and Spider-man. You might think, "I want to have Spidey drive Bats insane on patrol." You get inspired, and write 800 words of that. Then you see cleary in your head a scene with Clark walking bewildered around the Daily Bugle until he meets JJJ. That spills out onto the paper.
This is how Three Whooves played out. One of the first things I wrote was an 800 word scene with Dinky from the final chapter. Writing that scene really helped me figure out what I wanted Dinky to do and be like in my head.
Now what I do, having those parts written out, is place everything that's not the current chapter into one word file. I copy and paste it into the order I think it will happen. When I start a new chapter, I paste in all the content I want to place into that chapter. I may have to change it. Bats and Spidey may get a few lines of dialogue changed or added due to previous events I in NO WAY foresaw.
The interesting thing is I already have a good chunk of School Daze's closing number AND 250 words of the sequel written. I need to get the next two chapters out.
