Bad luck hit. My Laptop Keyboard is starting to go. I write frequently, so I can't really use up what seems to be its last runs to write lengthy chapters. I can write casually, like this, because it doesn't bother me so much that I have to press some keys several times; the space button is the worst. When it comes to the "Zen" point -- you start and you don't want to finish, and you're immersed -- I keep getting tripped up. I can't write Fiction until I upgrade. So as the days continue to span for "Give My Regards to Bridleway", know that I have not discarded it. It is just not a story I can currently write.
I have to save up a little money for a keyboard that will be durable and improve my performance. I am thinking of a Brown Switch Mechanical Keyboard. I want that tactile, typewriter feel, but can only have it so loud; I would love to go for Blue, to be honest. I have a current, constant flow of cash coming in through. I just have to wait a few weeks.
Please, Pardon My Dust,
Sebax
EDIT: New Keyboard! Woohoo! It's an Amazon Basic, but should serve as a nice stand-in while I save for the Cherry Brown Mechanical.
