    Again?

Well true believers and other nonsensical monsters, it has happened again. Okay yeah I've been less active in recent times but-my stories are still somehow getting love.

Love in this case is on specific soul who has made a YouTube reading of "A Mother's Love: The Directors Cut"!

    New Year, New Styles

Suffice it to say my life is becoming the mess, but all is not lost. I have good friends, a tiny portion of my family still likes me, and Everfree Northwest is going to be great this year.

    I Live! Sort of...

Um... yeah. To say the least I am still alive, my story ideas are still fumbling about in my skull, and I will be attending Everfree Northwest with my delightful niece, who is more like a brony than I think she understands. She draws ponies, makes up stories about ponies, and analyzes the show when we watch together... in so much as she asks why things are hapening and what different ponies mean

Meet me in Seattle, cattle, meet me at the con. · 10:00pm Feb 16th, 2015

Alright alright alright alright alright! Okay now Ladies! Ladies... Ladies? Okay now Fellas? Fillies and Gentlecolts, dangerous sea mammals and beleaguered marsupials. Children of all ages and disgusting man apes. I got news of the worst and or best kind!

News bit one, I am well on my way to finishing the director’s cut of my highest rated story, ‘A Mother’s Love’. I intend to release it on the one year anniversary of its initial release.

Exciting news program part the two! I am going to be at Everfree Northwest in Seattle this year. As we all know, maybes are for babies(Fluttershy taught me that.) and because of that little bit of wisdom I will not let maybes define me. Nothing short of a true emergency will stop me from attending that convention.

That said I am willing to admit that this will be my first convention ever. As such this will be exciting and frightening for me. So I felt I should list the things I am planning on taking and the reasons why. Then hopefully anyone here who has convention experience can tell me what I am missing. First for the train ride I get two carry-ons so I will separate the list based on what will be in each bag. Also the list will be copy pasted into a document that I can print so I don’t forget while I’m packing.

The one-st bag will be a standard medium travel bag filled with
( ) Pants, because nobody wants to watch mah neckid hindquarters for any length of time, plus they don’t let pantsless people on the train. So my butt will be covered in pants as well...
( ) Pony shirts so that other bronies will accept me as one of their kind.
( ) Clean socks and under-drawers. Because reasons
( ) Digital Camera, because my phone camera is crap.
( ) A mailing tube in case I buy some poster or another
( ) A small tin or sturdy box for carrying any small bits of delicate merchandise I buy. Also it will carry a pair of trading cards. A Luna card for Tabitha St Germain to sign and a Celestia card for John De Lancie... what? I bet you thought I would say Nicole Oliver. Actually that will be the case I just need to acquire some piece of Discord merch for Mister De Lancie to sign.
( ) A small camera bag to hold the less delicate small merchandise.
( ) A CD case if I buy any CDs or card like merch that won’t fit in the tin.
( ) If there is enough space to allow it I will bring Fluttershy.

My carryon of the second kind will be a messenger bag / Laptop bag
( ) Obviously my laptop.
( ) My IPad, because it has my nook books
( ) The current Daring Do novel I am reading at the time.
( ) A file folder for any and all paperwork type products(train tickets, maps, agendas, menus, legal paperwork... Pinkie’s secret cupcake recipe.
( ) My 3DS and its travel case which will let me carry six extra games
( ) All the various chargers and cords needed to operate my electronic devices.
( ) a note or doodling pad of some kind so I can take notes and doodle. Also various pens, pencils, erasers and such... so I can take notes or doodle

All in all this will fill about fifty percent of my total available traveling space leaving plenty of room for merchandise that doesn’t need the aforementioned containers I.E. shirts, hats, a lock of Lauren Faust’s hair... Don’t judge me! You all watch a show for little girls! ,,, Well I suppose so do I, but... fine! You win this round internet people.

Oh and on my person(in pockets and such)
( ) Personal identification, and other wallet goodies
( ) My MP3 player and headphones
( ) My cell phone
( ) Sebastian, my pet rock, because he wants to show off his Boulder cosplay. Also he has a magnificent Tom impression.

News encounters of the third kind, The Mysterious Mare Do Well(the episode) has inspired me to write a story. That is all.

Lastly piece of news... I am stupid. I just realized that Nicole Oliver plays both of the show’s most prevalent teachers. I mean I knew she plays Celestia and Cheerilee, but it finally registered in my head that she played both of the teachers.

And because you were all so good, I got you a pony picture in the form of, Distractions!

I’ll see you at the next chapter.

I too have never been to a convention, so what better fist con than the Everfree Northwest?

As a fellow Northwestian I can attest to the awesomeness of the Pacific Northwest. What's that have to do with the con? Absolutely nothing, I just like it there, making it an ideal location.

I hope to see you there and others from this awesome site. I haven't actually met any real life bronies. So my objectives become clear now: First meet other bronies and brony fanfiction writers, then meet John de Lancie, then take over the world! Of course. And not necessarily all in that order... ish.

2802425 Well obviously Everfree N.W. is best... because it is the only one within range for me to travel to and still be employed when I get back.

But yeah it would be awesome to meet in person, I'll be the dork wearing a, pony... shirt... Damn it!

Hey, I liked John De Lancie before he was on a show about ponies with an almost religious following of fans. He was on a show about space exploration withan almost religious following of fans.

Also world domination is kind of my thing and I'm not good at sharing. Get your own planet to conquer.

2802525 Yeah, what was that show he was on? There was this British bald badass, Brint Spiner, and a hot chick. :rainbowlaugh:

Damnit! Do you know how hard it is to find a populated planet that doesn't have a claim on it? I guess there's that pony planet. Shouldn't be too hard, just got to convince the one with the sun on her butt that I am the sun creator.

Have fun! I was planning on going to Ponycon NY this past weekend, but the snow messed things up badly. I couldn't get transportation, and the other form of getting there would have cost $200. I also don't think I'll be able to get a cheap flight to the West Coast for EFNW. :fluttercry:
So, are you guys thinking of going to Bronycon? I *might* be going. Money's a tight factor at the moment.

2802740 I wish I could go to Bronycon but I doubt I could afford a second trip to the States, let alone get the time off for it. There's a very slim chance I'd be sent to the States around that time for training, but my chances of winning the lottery are better.

2802852 I wonder if we could plan a day for us to get together at a con someday. Along with Mayhew, of course. I'll have to start saving for that soon. If they do DrawnCon near here again, I'll probably go to there. So far, it's been the only con I've gone to because it was an eight-dollar train ride away. :twilightsheepish:

2802548 Lucky how?

2802617 Also the guy from Reading Rainbow.

Or convince her sister that the sun is killing the moon ponies. Nothing quite like a big ruckus to ruin a country's prosperity.

2802740 Nah I can't really make two cons in one year. I work hourly, so I don't get paid if I'm not there. And because I need money to even go to cons, I have decided to stick with just the one, but you're right it would be awesome or incredibly dangerous to get all three of us in the same place.

2803086 I have no Idea? Sarcasm will get my mouth in trouble one day.

2803093 Okay... It's fine, I love you anyway.

2803106 My brother's have the same problem as me so it runs in the family.

2803120 Well that's a bit rough. I've got this wonderful little part of me that doesn't pick up on sarcasm very well at all, so I'm sure I would be terribly confused if I had to deal with your brothers.
