...Gravekeeper shows signs of life!
Seriously though, I've been away for too long. Sorry about that. I get very lurky when I don't have the chapters ready... Time passes by incredibly quickly, and I had suddenly let so many months pass without even waving "Hi" or answering comments. I'm taking care of that today.

The Bad News: Still haven't finished the chapters; the going is slow, and frankly, I've had no time, since as I've mentioned before, I spend most of my time either at work, or just outside of the house, mostly because my close group of friends is dwindling as they're all taking jobs this and the coming year and are moving away. I'm trying to make the most of spending time with all of them, and that eats into my own free time that I'd be using to write instead.
Man, I said time a lot there.
The Good News: My finger tip grew back, to my utter surprise. I guess I didn't lop off enough of it, since I only cut off the meat from the edge of the nail forward My finger basically ended in a completely vertical line where the nail ended. I did NOT enjoy changing the bandages and removing most of the scabbing each time, though.
The Dangerous News?: Ever since Season 2 ended, I've had an idea for a third fic, and I've pretty much convinced myself to write it.
DUN DUN DUUUN.

The Ornithological News: A juvenile Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis jamaicensis) was perched outside my window for like, four hours yesterday, kinda just brooding and calling out a lot. It was so chill and inert that it had tons of small birds perched around it in the same tree.
ADDENDUM
Seeing as the hawk is the star of the comments... Yesterday, I climbed my neighbor's roof and managed to get a couple of pictures of it when I got curious as to why I could hear the thing for hours on end (at first, I thought it was just circling above my house).

Get that time in with your friends when you can. The buddies I had in high school all left the area after graduation and the space I see any of them can be measured in years.

Eeyup, red-tail calls are the stock "eagle up in the sky during the panorama shot" call in every form of media ever. Even written. Even in Friendship is Magic, they gave the eagle in the pet competition the hawk call.
