Ask me anything. · 8:32pm Feb 14th, 2015
Figured that I've been quite slower in my writing than what I used to —I apologize for that, but life has its way to take one away from one's hobbies— and I also haven't been quite present on Fimfiction (despite what my logging status might say) lately. So I figured I'd be a bit more social here for a change .
So, the title says it all, if you got questions about...Well anything, (it's in the title after all) you can ask them.
Mariacheat-Brony ^^
PS: In case you're wondering, no it's not because I have nothing to do for Valentine's day that I'm doing this
that last ps probably made you wondering more than if I hadn't written anything.....*facehoof*
PPS: Sorry, but I won't post any valentine's day special chapter I'm already quite behind in all of my story-lines.
that's probably a much more interesting postscriptum

1) Don't really have a favorite
2) Sorry, but I don't understand that question .
3) I follow many fan fictions in different shows/games etc. Icarly had actually my first OTP a few years ago (I still like to read stuff about it every once in a while), Last Airbender (the real deal, not that weird film wherein they danced for half-an hour to make a breeze) & Legend of Korra, League of Legends (PILTOVER'S FINEST!!!!!!!)... and also Rwby a little bit. I read a lot of those, but I'm not active in them.
4) Boxers
5) Next update has been sent to pre-readers, and I'm waiting for all their feedback to deliver it
6) Usually, it's either comics/manga/cartoon/film scenes that I have seen and that I really enjoyed. Some scenes from the Crow, for example, inspired me for a few things in Chrysalis' backstory for the Apple Scratch Verse.
7) Well, I'd say read plenty of those from others and start practicing. At least that's what I did, and it worked a little I think:p
8) Wooo, that's a tough one hmmmm.... I'd say between Dawnfade for making me ship Octascratch (University days was also the first fan fiction I ever read) and Merc the jerk for making me realize that I could try my luck with humanized stories. (his world building is quite awesome too!)
9) All time favorite, I'd say Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan. (so much exaggerated japanese epic-ness in that show!!!!) Currently, my heart sways between the two Avatar Series, MLP, and also DragonBall (nostalgia sake!) for series. as for the movies, I'd say the Jurassic Park trilogy (it had its faults (quite many according to some), but I'd never forsaken those films no matter what people say )
10) Since I can't pick Kare-valgon, i'm gonna go with my favorite Rarijack Artist (some might not like it, but I really do)

1) Jurassic Park
2) Don't really have one exactly.
3) At the moment, mostly League of legends and Smite, but I also like strategic games like : Age of Empires, Warcraft 3, Total Wars...
4) sadly None
5) Brussels, Belgium
6) I'd say beach. Sea, Sand and Sun are a good combination!
I meant city life or country life, but its all good. Why Jurassic park?
How's that GTVS comic coming along, then?
How much is your artist charging per page?
What is the rate of page completion so far?
I find myself most curious.

I work on Chrysalis back story a bit, then i'm back to it. (I'd try to get to work on Scratchin' thieves a bit in a week or two)

The project still hasn't really started as I still didn't reach for the first objective of the patreon. (Short on 20 or so dollars)
As for how much she charges, it's about a bit less than two third of the patreon's milestone goals.
As I said before, the project hasn't started yet, (she's actually busy with another commission of mine from before this comic project.
Alright, I got a few good ones for you.
1) What drew you into watching MLP:FIM?
2) What made you love OctaScratch and RariJack? Was it a fanfic, art work, or just the show itself?
3) What was the Ah-Ha! moment that inspired the Apple Scratch Verse stories?
4) Which of your stories is the one that you are most proud of?

Mmm, good ones indeed.
1) Stroke of luck mixed with curiosity. I'm following on Youtube a french guy who made an abridged series of Saint Seyia (Really hilarious one at that) and one day, he posted a video someone had made and sent for him: It was a montage video of images of MLP:FIM with the audio of his abridged series' first episode. (the guy was a pony fan apparently) From that video, I got curious since the images from MLP:FIM were quite different from what I remembered MLP was before. A couple of weeks later I found the links for the first two seasons, and a weekend-later I was reading University days.
2) Well, for Octascratch it was dawn fade's university days and a few fan arts that I came across at the beginning. For Rarijack it was a bit later, as at first I was very pro AppleDash (mistakes were made ) then I don't know, I kinda grow to dislike Dash a bit more (dislike might be too strong of a word for what I mean, but I can't find another one) I kept losing interests in AppleDash when I stumbled across Merc the Jerk's Laughing shadow and also that moment was aired on the show.
What exactly was I supposed to do beside shipping it?
3) Well, to be honest nothing much grandiloquent. I liked Applejack the most from the main cast, and I liked Vinyl the most from all ponies, so I was wondering how I could make them interact together. At some point the idea of adoptive sisters came into mind, and the rest just followed up after I started writing.
4) The most proud of? Well, objectively speaking I'm quite proud of GTVS since it's my, could we say, best sale (I did graduate from commercial studies) , but sentimentally, I'm proud of all the story-lines I've written no matter they weren't too many reads on them or the opposite.
