Season 5 shenanigans · 11:15pm Feb 12th, 2015
Normally I'm not one for spoilers, but I couldn't resist at least reading the follow-up of the new trailer on Equestria Daily......and HOO BOY was that stupid of me.
As I may or may not have said in a previous blog post, I am currently trying to make a brand new story. Normally I would already be writing at least a prologue for it by now with all the planning I've already done, but after reading that follow-up.....I now have to rethink a MAJOR PLOT POINT for the whole damn thing.
Absolutely BRILLIANT am I right?
To be perfectly honest, I was originally going to be setting it post-season 4/pre-season 5. NOW that can't really happen since I kind of NEED it to be after the season 4 finale, but season 5 is going to screw things up for me. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually quite annoyed with season 5 already (Despite still being excited for it. 
)
So...until I can find a good work around for that time setting now, looks like my new story is going to have to wait for now.
Bluh.....sadness....
Still though, at least that gives me an excuse for working on Stuck now. Seeing as I didn't get a single view on it, I did some digging into why. Turns out, re-publishing a previously published story DOES NOT put it in the "New Stories" section on the front page. Not much of an issue really. All I really have to do is re-submit the first chapter as a new chapter and badabing badaboom it's on the front page for a short time.
As for the NEXT chapter, I can only say that it's looking much better than it was yesterday.
Anyway, that's all I can update yall with right now. Here's hoping that season 5 is actually going to be amazing despite my (rather selfish) grumbling!
