True Love Never Lies Blog Post

If you're like me, you have no idea what you just read.

The opening was sort of a challenge from Bad Horse, and y'all know how I am when someone challenges me to do something.

The idea of the resets is loosely inspired by a one-act play by David Ives called Sure Thing.

I'd say that watching the video will help explain the story, but it really won't.

Really, the best thing to do is just sit back and enjoy the ride. After all, how often do you get to see somepony surf off into the sunset atop a wave of champagne?

Yay AJ

I...

Don't even...

It appears to not be posted yet, though? :rainbowhuh:

Edit: D'oh, there it is, never mind. :facehoof:

Well. The video does explain things somewhat. It seems to imply the guy is manipulating time and, heck, reality itself, to make events go his way.

Heh, I just responded to your other comment and linked you here. Guess you beat me to it!

In the original play, it was the waiter who rang the bell. They left that out of the filmed version (perhaps figuring that everybody would be familiar with the play? I dunno).

...implying the waiter was manipulating reality to get those two together? That's even more hilarious :rainbowlaugh:

Hey, when it works, he'll probably get a big tip :pinkiehappy:
