Her bark is torn, anything but grand.
Blows she will take
And her leaves will quake.
But move from her spot she will not,
For her roots are there until they rot.

I finally broke down and asked for a commission from someone I met on deviantart, AuroraSwirls.
Here's the description I gave her:

What I'm visualizing is my OC standing with her facing away protecting someone with her wings stretched out. Looking back with a smirk on her face.
It's kind of my personality, where I would stand up and protect my friends in a moments notice.
