Greetings fellow tiny horse enthusiasts! King of Beggars here with the good news!
New TwiGuard is up and ready for your downvotes! Once again I have taken my sweet ass time getting this off the presses. I hope it was worth the wait and that you're not too disappointed with the direction the story has been taking so far.
Much of the mystery is worked out in this chapter, so the next coming chapters will be more drama-filled. We've got about two more chapters worth of story to go after this, and maybe an epilogue. Depending on how quickly I write them I might just hold on to those and do a double release. I've also been actually considering what I'd do for a sequel, because it's fun to write Twi as a soldier. But that all depends on how I feel after the story's all done and told.

Looking forward to the last chapters! I'm one of those jerks who read the first chapter, and if it seems good, track the story until it ends and then reads the rest of it. Your first chapter was very good indeed, and I'm getting impatient!

All my YES. I've never been a fan of ponies travelling to foreign countries but I am sure your skill will more than make up for it.
A sequel would be great. If nothing else a reaction to Princess Luna (unless that's in the Epilogue) suddenly turning up should happen.
Also, the idea of a sequel allures me. The first one isn't even finished yet and I already can't wait to see what it may or may not be like.
May I ask what DaiGuard is? (Also, what's the problem with a crossover? Mechs totally [don't] fit in with the setting!)

DaiGuard is an anime from about 15 years back. It's like... Imagine if the entire cast and premise of Evangelion was replaced by that show The Office.
Basic premise is that aliens start attacking mankind, so a heavy weapons manufacturer builds a giant robot to fight it. Soon as the robot is finished and they've got pilots, the attacks stop. Years later they're stuck with this expensive machine with tons of upkeep costs that no one else wants, so they just use it as a mascot for the company and send it to the PR division. The attacks start again and the PR division has the only qualified pilots, so a bunch of middle-management salarymen have to save the world.
Great show. You can find it online. KIssAnime has the whole thing streaming I think. I just have been making the joke because TwiGuard and DaiGuard rhyme.
