The POV VS Characterisation: (Problem/Conclusion Included) · 12:46pm Feb 8th, 2015

When a certain Character is in focus, Vocabulary and Grammar will have to follw said Character, or you take the Character out of Character.
With that said, Grammar and Spelling will have to go in order to stay in Character, in order to be true in presenting the Character.

Following a Correct Pony, such as Rarity, or any otherCharacter like her is easy, she doesn't stray from Grammar and Spelling, it is part of who she is.

Following a Character like Applejack is harder, since she follow a quaint Redneack/Hick manner, which has to colour and influence her Vocabulary and Grammar. Thankfully, she is at least Technically correct, even if it is not to the liking of certain Grammar-Nazies.

Following a High Octane and excitable ony like Pinkie Pie, and you are bound to break even the exception Rules for both Spelling and Grammar. She simply can not be bothered with these rules. Not then she has her very own rules, dictated firmly in the ruuls for a Party. Pinkie Pie constantly bring up Words and constructs that breaks every Rule in the Book, except the Book of her beloved Parties.

There may be several other Ponies and Types of Ponies I missed. Some of these bends the Rules in some strange or Quaint manner, others followes these Codes more to the letter than others.

Then we have the Zebra, Zecora apparently follows very different Rules for her Grammar, based on where she came from. This would be a Typical Immigrant. Yet, she is more of the Poet and Magician.
