OK, I'm getting back into Chapter VIII of Blueblood, but I noticed something on MythrilMoth's blog: I Write Like. Basically, you put your writing into it, and it spits out the writer you're most like. Here are my results:
Ponyville Shrink Seeks Quiet Position: J.R.R. Tolkien
Deliver Us: Margaret Mitchell (Gone With the Wind)
The Early Life of Blueblood: Raymond Chandler
I also put in some of my original writing, which can be found here (warning: I'm going back to polish it later). I got Ian Fleming.
None of these genres match! Well, maybe Ian Fleming, but he didn't write fantasy! Also, the only author I've read a lot of is Tolkien, so I don't know how accurate this is. Still, it's an interesting way to spend your time, moreso I imagine if you know more authors than I do.
