Random Poetry

I've hit a block as of late, so here's something I did as I attempt to chip it away and continue writing.

"Me and You"

We kept a low profile, in our low city,
Lips this close to mine had set me free,
But now its Tuesday, and i'm freezing,
In this bed, the dead space, it grieves me

And every morning a bitter taste,
It's been nine forever where's my time to waste,
And my eyes are blurred my fingers burn,
From strumming these chords till my stomach turns

To think I needed you,
To say I wanted to,
To think at all about you,
Leaves me disturbed,

I've said all I can to you,
The last message sent was about me ignoring you,
I've been abused, misused, left undervalued,
But i'll work my way back up to gratitude,

Spent a whole year searching but I lost interest,
Pulled my line out and gave fishing a rest,
If I move on, then you can follow through too,
Let's make the best without 'us' and we can stay on 'me and you'

...Well! Hope you liked it, I will continue attempting to write some shiz.
