Pony Size Chart, Gaia Version · 1:27am Feb 3rd, 2015
I noticed that some people had a bit of trouble figuring out Gaia's size in comparison with her equestrian counterparts, or just wanted to see something more tangible than some words to actually see the difference between heights. So I looked around for size charts that showed all types of ponies to see the height differences between them, to have a better reference to work with.
Then got some pics here and there, put them together... and made this:
I know it's not perfect, but I hope its enough to satisfy your thirst for knowledge, and helpful to see her height compared to other ponies

Would you believe me if I told you that, while looking for pony size charts, I saw a couple of them that had alicorns... that dwarfed Gaia?

I find it ironic the earth is so much larger than the sun.
2765760 If we compare Equestria's Sun with the planet itself the sun is way smaller. Celestia can move it and see where it goes in real-time so it's just a tiny ball of plasma probably several times smaller than Earth's moon. Yes, that tiny.
It looks bigger because its luminosity it's equivalent to a main sequence yellow dwarf star like our sun, probably because some kind of magic. It's not so ironic knowing that...
But that's just a personal theory
See, I pictured her being even larger than this. Being able to wrap up both princesses in her wingspan would suggest quite a size on her. This works though.

Hmmm, Wasn't something established, thanks to the Wierd al Episode, along the lines of an average mare being about 3.5 feet tall or so? hinted at by the measurement board behind them at one point? I might not remember the scene accurately enough, though if I 'am' right, would that put Gaia at about 8-9 feet tall? XD
2777426 I have ponies at 3.5 and ol' sunbutt at 4'10 (not counting the horn.) so with Gaia being 1 to 2 heads taller makes her around 6 feet tall without the horn.
Very interesting! Enlightening too.
Quick question though, I'm not sure if I'm just being incompetent, but I've been looking for a token for a Gaia-style Alicorn for a D&D campagin... Do you know of any good ones, by chance? Perhaps the one you used for this graph?
