Some facts about Ombra della Lama+And Hell Will Follow Me · 1:25am Jul 4th, 2012
Allo allo, all.
First things first. I have a bad case of writers block right now, I've been struggling with the next chapter of And Hell Will Follow Me for days now. I'm putting it on hiatus for now until that little problem is resolved.
Secondly, I'd like to explain a few things about Ombra della Lama's universe, where it diverged from the lovely little world we all know and love from canon.
The p.o.d. is one thousand years before the series started. Nightmare Moon never happened, the Princesses just... drifted apart. The Elements of Harmony were never lost, and every time an element bearer died a new one was found. Twilight Sparkle was moved to Ponyville to be with the other Elements, and they built their friendship there.
After she lost Luna, Celestia ended up becoming a stern and draconian ruler. She keeps up the pretense of being a loving ruler, but behind the scenes she rules with an iron hoof and permits absolutely no threat to her throne. Luna held command over the Assassins during this time, but one named Altair ended up breaking the guild and serving under Celestia. The last of Celestia's guild was Ombra's Master. Assassins from both guilds (as well as other enemies of the Assassins) formed a third order, the Tempests (Pony version of the Templars.)
Also, a side fic is in the works by StormDaDrains, detailing the life of another Assassin who has some run ins with Ombra. The time line gets a little complicated, so if anyone has any more detailed questions about what happens when, or what time it is, comment on this blog or shoot me a PM.
i love the game series and i am a incarnate fan of the templars and the assasins,and also of all the story behind them, i also love the time where they lived, so i hope to see a nice story soo far it has been great
