As much as I hate posting more than one blog post in one day, there are just some things that have to get out there. Like for instance, I'm cancelling Pony Island.
Oh wow, that was abrupt.
Anyways, the reason why I'm cancelling is because I hate literally everything on planet earth and regret no sins that I have committed against my family.
No no, the reason I'm cancelling it is because, as much as I loved writing it when I first published back almost two years ago, I've fallen out of favor with writing it as well as falling out of the horror genre. This has been cancelled along with my other HIE, His Last Wish. That story was just a disaster, and I had no idea where I was going with it. I was planning on riding wherever it took me, but then I soon found out that it was taking to its crack den, so I jumped off when I finally realized it wasn't slowing down.
As I was editing it, I found out that I really hate it. It was awful, it had terrible grammar, a human OC that had no purpose being there, and a less than decent plot. I don't know how many of you really enjoyed the story, I know of only one guy that really liked it. But I don't want to beat a dead horse as much as I have.
So, as much as I'd hate to cancel my first story I've ever gotten serious about, I must cancel. As of right now, the four chapters I have taken down to edit will go back up in due time. I barely got finished with editing chapter 1, and I just didn't want to finish writing it. It was a chore to just think of new things to write.
Hey, maybe I'll pick it back up when I stop starting new things. Blame the ADHD for that, because I do.
And you know what, I'll even let somebody else take the reigns of the story if anybody feels like it. That's what I'll do. If anybody wants to pick up the story, just let me know. We'll get the story onto your account, like a parent who can't raise his children so they go to an orphanage or a foster family.
