That took months of on and off writing. The start of the other one was written in like two weeks.
As for the statistics of the story I wrote, I was pretty sure that would happen. I knew it wouldn't be dismissed, but I also knew it wouldn't do stellar. I've dealt with enough bad and good stories to have a feel of what's going to happen.
