If you feel like you need to stop or aren't enjoying writing fic anymore, go ahead and stop. Once a hobby stops being something you look forward to, or causes you to be miserable instead of happy, you quit that hobby. We would certainly miss you and what could have been, but we still have your old fics to look at and enjoy.
I would much rather you find something else that actually makes you happy than have you force yourself to try and write fics just out of obligation.
I really sincerely hope you can find something that will make you feel happier. Maybe you could even come back someday when you feel more inspired to write pony fics.

I agree with previous commenters, if you feel sick and tired of being a Brony and/or writing fanfic it's perfectly fine to stop. Also I have to say I feel a great deal of gratitude for the wonderful stories that you've written (My Little Alicorn, Bringing Up Blueblood) - they are two of the best fanfics I've read to date.... so please don't feel bad about ending/not finishing Waning Moon... if that's what you feel you need to do then do so.
