2754811 like i said, its been twenty years since i saw that show...but trying to mesh ecological protection by magic rings with the Mane 6...i can see what u were going for, but it still doesnt work, not logically. Captain Planet was the physical manifestation of those five kids powers, essentially a magical construct, a Golem. one that was strengthened by ecological growth and harmed by pollution.

Twi is a living pony, she has parents, family, a life of her own. she is flawed in many ways, but those flaws only make her stronger as a character, by letting her friends aid her. she is not weakened by a lack of friendship in the world, nor is her magic the result of combining the powers of her five friends.

the five rings sent to the kids by the earth goddess all have power on their own, based on the Elements of Nature pluse the Heart power that got thrown in for some odd reason.

alone, the Elements of Harmony r powerless, mere trinkets that look pretty. it is only when all six r present that their power is made manifest in the form of a massive rainbow laser...

my logic is undeniable in this...
