Which really translates to- Pickleless, Pickleless! We're upset that you took away that 10% serious factor to your story! Why isn't the next chapter about Stupid, we want Stupid not some other changeling! Also resolution on the matter because despite the fact cliffhangers is a terrible yet efficient way to keep readers reading your story it's absolutely terrible and the next chapter wasn't good enough to keep us around! Also Luna isn't that dumb despite the fact that everyone is slightly retarded and sociopathic in this fan universe! FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT-"

Easy explanation for anything Changeling related.
Changeling abilities are based on visualization. Quick Wit is mentally unbalanced, with the line between fantasy and reality blurred.
I love seeing people post their head-canon as proof that something doesn't make sense. Don't you know you're breaking the rules established for how this imaginary spell works, in settings that have nothing to do with the story?
my big thing was the transition. there was no telling us what was going on, it's just BOOM we're in Canterlot, a 'meanwhile' or something at the start would have be nice.
This is why I beat my editor regularly, pour coffee down his nostrils through a funnel, and keep him sleep deprived.

Yeah, we figured out that we had forgotten the transition. You'll see what it was actually supposed to be when we put in the correct transition.
It's actually somewhat of a flashback... I guess?... if it can be called that... It's... well... You'll just have to see.

Posting fanfictions of a little girls show consisting of pastel colored miniature horses is completely and totally serious business for a serious author as myself.
Now to write a story about Celestia secretly being a tiny giraffe.
So long as you don't set me or my clothing on fire, I don't mind you doing whatever you wanna do. I personally kinda liked the Quick Wit chapter.
Well, time to pack my bags and get out of this before that hits then.

There is a reason that you have editors; we're there to help make the story better, more accessible, and generally a more pleasant and well-received reading experience. When you intentionally fly in the face of your editors, that's not only intentionally tanking your own story, but it also shows very little respect for the people that are graciously donating their time, effort and expertise in order to help you.
