I got asked this. Who would win: Mega Gardevoir or Mega Lopunny? · 5:16pm Jan 23rd, 2015
Good question. Let's both assume they are full blown attackers with no HP or Defenses in them, correct? Now, if we're talking about bear bones, no Stealth Rock, no Status, no anything but the fight, it actually boils down to chance. But the chances are in a certain someone's favor.
252+ Atk Lopunnite Scrappy Mega Lopunny Return vs. 0 HP/0 Def Gardevoirite Pixilate Mega Gardevoir: 270 - 318 (97.5 - 114.8%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO
Lopunny is clearly faster than Mega Gardevoir, boasting the ability to outspeed with Adamant nature. As you can plainly see, there is a 81.3% chance Lopunny is going to win right here, right now. It's a big chance. Lopunny's moveset is very limited as Gardevoir completely type checks Lopunny. STAB Return is the best she's got, but boy is it powerful.
If per chance, that 18.7% chance kicks in an Gardevoir lives. Lopunny is not taking anything from that. Psyshock, Moonblast, whatever. It's done, but that's assuming it can live Return.
The odds are 81:18, which is rather funny. Fairly even since they both have some sort of chance, but our decided winner is clear.
Mega Lopunny will most likely beat Mega Gardevoir in a 1v1

MLop is guaranteed to win if it has Fake Out. While it can still outrun Garde with a Jolly nature, more realistically, the Lopunny would probably be Jolly.
252 Atk Mega Lopunny Return vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Gardevoir: 246-289 (88.8 - 104.3%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO
Yes, I understand that many people believe that Fake Out is unnecessary - and it is, but it's one of MLop's biggest tools for tearing Hyper Offense to shreds and the only thing really contesting for that slot is another set in MLop's surprisingly diverse pool of roles it can run or Healing Wish.
Did you ever doubt Mega Lopunny?
Pfft.
The real answer is "no one, they'd just go grab Mega Medicham and form MEGA TEAM CHARM".
