I don't know why exactly, but I've always felt more compelled to write for contests than for solitary stories. Whatever the reason, I've had a blast taking part in the latest Writeoffs, and then this thing rolls around.
Typically, I've left it, while not quite to the last minute, certainly to the dying stages to be able to come up with a semi-decent idea, let alone getting anything onto screen. But I have begun, and there is still time left to create something worthwhile (hopefully).
As it's the only one of the five prompt stories I've read, My Little Dashie will be the basis for my fic. I believe I can safely say it'll be nothing like the other entires, and adds to the "mythos" in a way that I hope will move some people. Eh, we'll see.

And oh yeah, I uploaded Never Again the other day. That should tide some of you over until Cards II rears its ugly head. I'll leave it as the tagged story for no particular reason.
