Didn't have time to comment on the chapter proper...
I thought it was funny myself, but it really did feel like the beginning of a whole other story, or something similar. The tone was just competently off compared to the rest of Changeling Doll.
If you want to continue this, that might be an idea actually. Pull it out, and publish it as a stand-alone spin-off more focused on direct comedy.

Not exactly, but if you want to put it that way. I think it's that most people had no idea that it was actually tied to the story because we forgot to put a certain something at the beginning of the chapter. Also, people didn't like that kind of "Luna just suddenly follows orders" deal. It just... well, didn't fit, it seems, with everyone's expectations stubbornness due to of what they have seen perspective from Stupid.
So... bad? No. Hated? No. Perfect?... still no. But now we know what to do to hopefully get it fixed.
Do that's the reason I have an "unread" chapter without actually having one. You have any idea how annoying that has been? -_- Ah well. I look forward to how you fix the chapter in question, though I didn't read the original.

I thought the chapter was freakin hilarious! That changling was what would happen if Pinkie's personality were injected into a changling. So forget the haters and put the chapter back up. And if folks complain, just ignore them.
As others have reflected, the core issue was that it came completely out of left field. The chapter wasn't bad; we just had no larger framework in which to fit it.
In one sense, though, it worked perfectly. After reading, a changeling knocked on my door, and I was so confused that I invited it inside instead of doing something more sensible, like literally almost anything other than inviting it inside.
I didn't even get to see it...
I loved the chapter. Sad its down for now.

What? I liked the changeling version of Pinkie Pie. Was annoyed not to see the cliffhanger followed up on, but nowhere near enough to hate it and want it removed
I thought it worked very well to be perfectly honest. I can see the argument for making it a separate parallel story because it is kind of late to start up a second disconnected storyline, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with the chapter so I really think you should put it back up as a separate story.

I didn't say I "hated" the chapter, at least I wasn't trying to. I just meant that it wasn't what I was expecting. As people are saying it was "too far out of left field". It didn't fit with the comedy scheme you already had going.

Is it just me, or is everyone taking this ridiculous comedy way too seriously? I'm content with just turning my brain off and giggling.
In the end, the writer's opinion is the one that matters, because he (or she) is the one crafting the story. Every time I let a story's fans dictate the direction, the story (not to mention my motivation to write it) suffered. Stick to your guns, because no matter what you do, it's going to piss someone off. May as well maintain your creative integrity while doing it.
