Looking back a bit on TMJ · 5:48pm Jan 21st, 2015
I just want to say I am so happy people are still reading and enjoying this. Every time a new favorite pops up in my notifications, I come back and read a few chapters, thinking about all the stuff I was going through as I wrote this. It`s obviously far from perfect, but it`s something that`s mine, and that makes it beautiful to me. Thanks to everyone that supported me as I wrote this, I was and am a very insecure person, and it is easy for me to feel like what I`m doing is pointless.
Well, if you ever need more help with any other projects, you know who to ask. And before you ask, no. I haven't started reading it just yet. I don't know when I'll get in the mood to do so. I'd rather it not become a forced read or I won't appreciate it. Heheh. Kinda hypocritical of me.
2738108 I am especially grateful to you, Psychopath. Without you, this story probably could have totally gotten dropped. I needed a place for this story to go, and your Sociopath gave me an excellant place to go... If only my execution of that journey was not so absolutely shitty... (Plague of Baltimare sucked so much balls...)
2738262 I forgot I gave you the Sociopath to use. Plus, you've gotta start somewhere. Training, training, and more training. I'm lucky that my stories were liked enough that people gave me hints and tips on how to write better, pace better, and such 'n such.
2738349 You know, I really wish people who dislike PoB, and I mean everyone who read it, gave me some ideas on what is wrong with it. I think it`s because I hated every second I spent typing that shit, and so it probably showed, but I don`t know how to fix it.
2738397 Then you should delete it. Or you could remake it. There's no point in keeping such a tarnish if you had no pleasure writing it.
2738446 I feel like I should keep it because its a part of the story, but... Well, in the original TMJ chapters, Le`Vanna had a lot more lines. But every time I start writing for her, I just imagine who she is at heart, and I hate her. And then I hate everything to do with her, so it showed. I ended up removing most of her lines in TMJ.
2738469 You hate your character? That's not a good sign when an author hates their character other than the reasons they made them (You know, like Tolkien hating Sauron because he made him evil but still loving him because he's his creation). I think it's time you started working on another world with new characters.
Why not try something more comedic to refresh yourself? It's never good to stagnate on one reality for far too long. That's why I think in four dimensions.
2738480 These characters are all based off of alternate personalities from my early childhood. Le`Vanna is extremely accurate in the story to how she treated me.
2738490 ...You're not supposed to make characters based on people from real life because it causes conflicts and creates problems for you later on, like what you had here with Le'Vanna.
2738521 Mhm. Well, I assumed that since she did not really exist, it would be alright.
Besides, that is what the entire story before TMJ was about.
2738523 Okay, but using characters taken from real life never ends well. You've got proof now.
2739554 I guess you're right. I wont be making a similar mistake again.
