[Updates?] As for the Rest of Y'all... · 4:39am Jan 18th, 2015
I'm giving you this because I've got some...not-quite-bad news.
I'm gonna be taking a short leave from writing so I can focus on a few other projects, most of them involving my community site. Our annual awards ceremony is underway, and it's my task to help organize and release the results. Last year pulled in enough content for a 45+ minute video...and we've only added more categories since then!
There's also a smaller-demand, monthly video show I'm helping to write (also for the same website), and I nearly missed this week's deadline due to me reading so much pony here! I made it, sure, but I want to clear the air with the project leader going forward. That means dedication and a plan. And that means less pony.
What does less pony mean? It all boils down to me spending some time away from my passion - writing and reading. I'll still be here, keeping up with updates and looking through my Radar (oh by the way I have a Radar bookshelf now okay bye), but I'll be limiting how much I read. This probably won't apply to things on my Bedside Table or Display Case, because gawd if those things aren't addicting! As for the rest, though...you'll be Leo-free for a while.
It also means I'm going to pause all my pony projects here until I get back on level ground. As a result, I'm marking each Incomplete story as Hiatus until this small whirlwind dies down. It probably won't last more than a couple weeks, after which I'll resume my usual routine of not-writing. (Oh wait that's bad...)
I'll take this time to list out my priorities as far as my pony projects go:
Top: Humility, chapter three (currently 1,200 words, 2nd draft revising stage)
Two: Humility, chapter four (currently 0 words, planning stage)
Three: The Other Side, chapter three (currently 1,400-2,500 words, 1st draft cutting stage)
So yes, as of now, both Humility and The Other Side are moved to Hiatus status until I get these video shenanigans squared away. This blog post is tagged with Humility's story since it's the more popular of the two. In addition, I do have another Floored! review to write, but I have yet to start it because the story in question is longer than the usual stock. That, too, will come later, but it's not a priority as the rest are.
Sorry, friends. I promise it won't take long. Just a couple weeks!
~Leo
Okay! Good luck!
