Lazarus Update: Sparkling Light is DEAD! D: · 10:21pm Jan 14th, 2015
No not really, though I doubt any of you would care because... face it we only seen the fucker once.
That is why I KILLED him, or should I say the chapter.
Yes I deleted the chapter because of two things.
1. I realized I introduced him wrong ark.
2. I never actually built upon his character.
oh wait three things.
3. As of the moment he did nothing for the story/the chapter hardly even progressed the plot.
"So what are you going to do?" You did not just ask me.
Well I plan on doing a couple of things. First off Sparkling Light is not gone, he shall return.
"When?" You cry.
When? Soon, my dear child. Really soon, by soon I mean like after the next chapter or two. The first contact ark is officially coming to a close and it is time our dear humans lie down and get some rest.... okay I'm kidding I'll keep tabs on them.
But if I don't start adding more ponies in I swear I'm going to completely forget that I'm writing an MLP fic to begin with. Hell I'm surprised I haven't even gotten the mane six involved. Shit I remember not so long ago some guy was bitching at me about that. I'm kidding, but he was politely asking me about that.
Anyhow, I surgically sliced Sparkling Light's chapter out of the story nothing is broken and now the plot flows a lot better. I plan on building a bit more on Sparkling Light and possible releasing two chapters (or one big one) just about him back to back explaining a bunch of cool plot related stuff.
On another note the next chapter is coming along smoothly, haven't gotten to it yet in the past couple days. Been too busy with my semester exams (which so far have been REALLY easy.) and hoping that Long John Silver's (seafood place for those who may not know what it is. Hell, I bet everyone's heard of it) gives me a call in the next couple days. If not I'll return to applying anywhere I can, other than that that's all what's been going on.

Anyway, could you freshen up my memory by telling me who Sparkling Light is? I'm kinda-sorta... REALLY bad with names, so I have no idea who that is. Well, unless it's that one guard who got to "play" cards with humans and got smacked for that.

Damn, at this rate you'll make people with short memory (or just the ones reading a lot of different stories and then mixing them up) to re-read your fic from the beginning. Not that I'm complaining but still... If not for this blogpost I would have never noticed anything

2723097 Chapter four in Lazarus no longer exists in this realm. I have officially annihilated it with the deletion cannon and is now going to be reassembled later on down the line.
In other words there was a chapter in the story that hardly advanced the plot and proved to be more of a roadblock then a runway for the readers. It served nothing what so over aside from shoving a character that won't be of any use until way later in the story for no reason whatsoever.
So I have decided to cut it out from the story and rewrite it so that I can return it sometime after 1st contact.
2723123 Ah... well there's no worries on this end seeing as the favorites change made me paranoid about stories going walk about so I got into the habit of downloading them...
I'm starting to get a Half Life 3/ Duke Nukem forever vibe from the massive amount of rewrites, but as long as you know what your doing with the fic I'll be happy.
