A while ago--November according the e-mail--I submitted 'Who Am I?' to EQD after several ponies suggested I do so. Went over it several times, fixing little mistakes and trying my best to clean it up and then I sent it off and then I waited. And waited. And waited. It's been two months now and I haven't heard anything. Meanwhile, I've seen stories show up on EQD that had just been written here on FimFiction not a week before. Guess that means it didn't make it. I thought I would at least get a reply saying so though.
Anyway, who wants to read a story about Lyra messing with things that she shouldn't be messing with? It's for that Most Dangerous Game contest they have going on. I'm not even sure if I'm following the rules correctly, but I'm using the Anthropology prompt. My story has to do with something that I've been wondering about since the first season of MLP. Mainly, the stars.
Don't feel too bad about EQD. I've tried to get on there before and the one time I DID get a reply from them it was actually quite rude and unhelpful in regards to feedback on the story. As for the Lyra idea, I say go for it. I'd read it :)

Well that sucks, but I guess you can't please everyone. Only means that they know the story is too good for them. Anyways, can't wait for the Lyra fic. Until next time,

Stop writing? When I still have to do that Trixie story I told you I'd write (working title is Trixie's Misfits)? Never! Still many ideas bouncing around in my head. I think the only way I'll stop writing here is if I die, the site/fandom dies, or life gets way too busy. As in, pulling my hair out busy, which I won't allow, so you have nothing to worry about.

An encouraging way to look at it. I'm debating whether to put the first chapter of the Lyra story up, or save it until the whole thing is ready and just release it all at once. I think I'm going to go with first chapter first.

I'm pretty much over EQD now. I spent, on and off, about two months going over that story. I fixed typos, rewrote awkward sentences, corrected contradictions, and basically all sorts of effort went into it. If they won't even bother to respond with a simple form rejection, then I'm not going to waste any more time. Ponies and others on this website enjoy the story, so I'm happy with that.

I've thought about it, but I'm not so sure. If that was how the story ended, then certainly. However, with 'Shattered' taking place immediately after it, it's not really tragic anymore. What do you think?
