Random rambling and art sneak peek

Damn, I haven't blogged here since last year

I kinda had a little pony hiatus going on for a while there. It all pretty much started with the Crystal Fair where I overworked myself with pony plushie making. After the con was over I felt kinda Done with ponies. Not done like "I'm dropping out of the fandom", but done like "Too much ponies, brain deactivates". I got sick and tired of drawing ponies, I haven't made a single plushie, and after a while I stopped RPing as Discord because I plain didn't have the inspiration to do so. The muse was gone. I only watched over my forums, and sometimes watched some pony videos in youtube from the people who I've deemed good enough to subscribe to. But that was about it.

I got interested in another fandom (rather, my interest in it was re-kindled) and just allowed myself to not pony until I felt the spark again. I read All The Fics from the fandom, RPed as my favourite character, drew a couple of fanart pieces and even wrote fanfics. It was a much needed fandom jump.

And now, after a few months of distance, Discord came back to me. He had been lurking around for some time now, but he finally crashed right back in a few days ago. I'm not even sure what tipped the scale, but after that happened I've happily watched Rainbow Rocks (which was awesome), worked on a drawing (commission tho, so I would have had to do it anyway), and now I'm looking forward to getting back to roleplaying! So yay!!

Speaking of the drawing, here's a sneak peek of it:

Colours slapped on a sketch-Twi Her appearance might still change a little bit once my commissioner gives me feedback on the sketch as a whole, but I kinda doubt that. So most likely I'll only trim the lineart. Anyway, I wanted to share this particular part of the drawing because HNNNG dat expression! Too adorbs!
