Happy [Late] New Year! (I love you all) · 8:12pm Jan 5th, 2015
Well, looks like it's 2015 now! Hope you're all doing well! I've been doing pretty good, I think, all things considered. Sure, there are mice in my garage, and I haven't been as productive as I would have liked, but those are both problems that can be fixed.
Over the period between Thanksgiving and New Year, I've been contemplating my life and everything that's happened over the past year or two. It occurs to me that in a year, I've probably made more friends than I have in the majority of the rest of my life, and I just wanted to express how thankful I am.
Not only have I met a lot of people, but it's a very diverse group, too! I look back a year ago and I realize just how truly ignorant I was of things like sexuality, gender identity, and religion, among other things, and I probably still would be if it wasn't for all of you and the time I've spent here.
Regardless of who you are, where you come from, what you believe, and what people might refer to you as, all of you are unique, interesting, and all-around amazing people. I wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for you. Even if you're someone I've only spoken to once or twice, chances are that one little interaction gave me a new perspective on the world.
Thank you. Every single one of you. Yes, including you. You, the person who's reading this. You are an amazing human being, and I love you.
Platonically, of course.
Also, if you feel like I may be holding some sort of ill will towards you, chances are I'm not, because I really can't hold a grudge for very long. So don't be afraid to talk to me.
So, do any of you have any New Year's resolutions you'd like to tell me about? Mine is just getting more stuff done, because I've been generally procrastinating on nearly everything for like a month.
You already know my resolution.

Happy new year to you too! And thanks for writing that, it made my day.
