I'll Be Back Soon · 9:09am Jan 5th, 2015
I haven't updated in about a month. I apologize for that. Recently I've been under an absurd amount of stress. Not gonna go into too much detail, but long story short, I've been metaphorically breaking my spine in every possible way to help a good friend with something and while at first I had no problem with that. He's one of my best friends. But it's coming to a point where I just can't do it anymore. I've seen zero progress in this and I can't really tell if he's putting in any effort of his own into this. I've heavily shafted myself financially and I've been losing so much sleep for zero payoff, and no visible progress. I haven't had a day to myself for weeks due to this current setup. Even if I have a day off from work, I still have to drive off to do stuff the moment I wake up. In an attempt to keep updating Kamen Rider Bass at a somewhat consistent rate, I wrote the last two chapters in a short time while under a large amount of stress, which is why a lot of it seems rushed as hell. I regret that a lot and I might go back and fix those later, but for now I'm just leaving them as a reminder to never do that again. Anyway, vague explanation aside, I plan to put an end to this by the end of next month, regardless of whether or not my friend is able to accomplish what we want by the end of that period. I will be putting out a chapter soon. I have been writing during this time, slowly now whenever I get a legitimate chance to and I'll hopefully be getting back to a steady pace once February is over. But in the meantime, I want to at least apologize for just kind of vanishing. At the very least, my friend has unofficially become my editor. I'll be updating the previous chapters in a few weeks. Though really, it's nothing worth going back to read. Mostly fixing grammar and spelling errors. Thanks for enjoying the story so far.
Sir, you do not have to apologize for missing a month (if that's true then I owe my reader's an apology as well ).
Take care of yourself and make sure that writing stays something that you love not an obligation... unless someone is paying you, then it can be an obligation.
Also, I am honored that you consider me your editor. Now if only I could get me one of those
