Sneek peek at epilogue, and ART! · 6:59pm Jun 29th, 2012

I UPLOADED this blog last night. X_X It didn't go through and I didn't realize until I didn't SEE it there next morning! *swears under her breath*

Anyway, I guess I'll rewrite it: I've been working on the "Broken Spirit" epilogue and it's about ten pages out of the twenty I want it to be. It's LONG. I'd give you all a tiny peek, but I think what I'm about to post next will take up most of the page. XD

.....Oh what the hell, I'll give you one anyway.

“Take off your blindfolds!”

Eagerly, they did, and let them flutter to the ground as they gaped up at the amazing sight before them. Stretching to the ceiling, gleaming at them, was a brand new stained glass window—of them! They were in a jewel-like field, and looked to be running side by side. Discord glanced back at the first stained glass window with him controlling the ponies...and dangling them over flames. He then gazed back to the new one and smiled.

How things have changed...

“A third stained glass window!” he chirped, “why, I'm just getting more and more famous.” A warm smile snaked over his lips. “Honestly though, I think this one is definitely my favorite of them all.” He scratched at his beard. It was missing something though. With the snap of his fingers, the boring and normal background of the window turned into a land of cotton candy and sweets. Discord gave a wide grin, but it fell with a pout as Celestia immediately turned it back.

“This window represents the moment in time that the honorable bearer of kindness reformed one of Equestria's most greatest foes,” Celestia said.

“GAG!” Discord almost wretched there right on the spot, giving a shudder at the unadulterated sweetness of the alicorn's words. “Yech! Tia, if you must phrase it anyway, I prefer you say 'the day the Spirit of Chaos developed a slight appreciation for harmony and order.' It's much less disgusting.”

“Oh, your majesty, this is such a wonderful surprise,” Fluttershy breathed happily, giving Discord a small nuzzle. “I love it so much. It's certainly a day I won't ever forget either...”

"Cradle To Corruption" is a few pages long, and the first chapter is mostly a brief recap of Celestia's birth and when baby Discord is found in the labyrinth. The fic goes from infancy to adulthood, to the eventual tears in the family (ex: King and Queen being killed, Discord being stoned, Luna being banished)

And NOW for a comic I just made last night! :D This I guess takes place after the events of "Broken Spirit" since this is pretty much Discord's relationship with the girls. He still torments them, but playfully. He of course makes it as ominous and "evil" seeming as possible. Tehehe. This is actually based off a collaborated story that MIGHT be posted here (it's pretty much like the aftermath of "Payback Is A-" I guess)

SO HERE IT IS! :D I'm very proud of it! I wanted to give it a major horror feel until the last panel and I think I succeeded.
