What do you guys think of bonus chapters? Ya know, they're usually short, hardly advance the plot. Mainly used to cover up plot holes or explain a few things? What do you think of them?
PS: Obviously this is pertaining to Lazarus.
Yes, more chapters with Starswirl learning about us and learning about everything is moving along in other locations would be nice.
Yes, it would be nice to know more about the world that once was in more detail - Such as what was their technology like, how'd they managed to build Horizon, and a more detailed description of these "Sleepers" and how the infection began (Maybe a past recollection of some of the soldiers?), it intrigued me a lot.
It certainly would shine up the plot, clearing some mysteries along the way.
Stories that don't really add anything to the plot, but advances the lore = are usually good ideas.
Beware, however, for some people don't like info-dumps (a common theme for sci-fi) or simply don't like original lore (you know, like, more stuff to read!? Ugh...)
We couuuuuuuld go into the lives of individual crew members... it would be good incase you had some characters that didn't make the final cut.
Still waiting for that HAL9000 moment...
As far as bonus chapters go, I think completing Starswirl's Journals will be perfect. I mean, if they found one of the ground vaults open and it was populated, where did the people go and how doesn't most of Equestria know about mankind? Also, are you going to talk about our friend the alien hunter soon?

Oh you won't even believe what I have planned for him.
