This is totally the most delayed story ever · 5:10am Dec 28th, 2014
Some of you have probably noticed it's been almost two months since I have published any Hocus Pocus. This story's been going on for a long time now, and it's high time I get it finished. In light of that, you'd probably assume chapter 19 will be arriving soon.
Guess what. It won't.
I've written almost none of it, and I won't be writing any of it for probably another month at least. It really pains me to do that, especially when there are only two chapters to go until the story is finished. But unfortunately, there's something else I need to continue to work on that has priority.
This thing I need to continue to work on is not a ponyfic. It is not something that will appear on fimfiction. Except for a few of you who keep in contact with me outside of fimfiction, you'll never hear about it again after this blog post. But it needs to be done. No fanfic can rival its importance.
When that matter is finally taken care of, Hocus Pocus will resume. Chapter 19 has only barely been started, so even once I resume in full it will be a few weeks before it appears. In other words, it'll be February or even March before this next updates.
My sincere thanks to those of you who have waited through almost two years as I wrote this story. I know I'm going to lose even more of you than I already have with this latest hiatus, but there's nothing I can do about it except offer my apologies. I will return to the fic as soon as it is possible for me to do so.

I was there when this story started, and shipping and handling was one of the first fanfics Ive ever read. I will definitely finish this one. What's this other story that is so important? I might have to check it out. If it's so important.

Doesn't need to be a pony fic. That's just what I come here for. If it was a good story at all I'd want to read it. But it's fine, just curious.
You aren't even in the running for longest delay/hiatus between chapters.
Good fic is worth waiting for, is my opinion. And your track record in this regard is still vastly superior to some of the non-pony fanfic writers I follow.

I just want to let you know, I'm not going anywhere, this story is SO good and it's SO worth waiting for you to finish it. Whatever it is that you're working on outside of FIMFiction/Ponydom - if it has to take priority then that's how it is. I am just so happy that you haven't stopped writing this story and that - even if it takes a YEAR... or more I'll still be waiting for the last of it to come out.
Glad to know that you're alive and everything is okay! I started thinking that something bad had happened to you given the lack of updates. Anyway... just wanted to say I love your story, I support you, and I will be here waiting to enjoy the rest of the story whenever that'll be.

I will admit that I had been wondering what happened. You know what though? It's all cool Like others have posted before me: We get it. It's all cool man. Do what you need to do. Sometimes people forget that other ponyfans have a life outside of pony. That always needs to come first. So, good luck, Happy Hearths Warming, Happy New Year, and do what you need to do.
