Hello friends!
How is life? I hope you all are having a happy Hearth's Warming this year.
I just put up chapter 19 of Where Night Meets Day. I knew going in that this was going to be an epic story, but...
19 chapters, 329 pages, 170,486 words (according to fimfic's counter), and over a year in writing... and it just keeps growing.
To those who have joined me recently, thank you so much for coming along for the ride so late along.
For those of you who have been here from the beginning, it means more to me than you will ever know that you like my work this much. I mean... I never thought I'd get even 10 readers. The fact that I have something like 400 who have stuck with me through all of this craziness truly warms my heart. Life has had so many strange ups and downs, even since I started this story, but knowing you guys are here, waiting for the next chapter... It keeps me going, even when things get dark.
So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything. Thank you for taking up your time to read my silly story, thank you for sticking with it, thank you for every comment, every favorite... everything. Even tonight, as most would be awaiting Santa or some other such thing, I am hard at work on the next chapter, not because I'm forced to, but because it brings me joy, and I'm so glad I get to share it with all of you.
So, to all my friends, all of you, even those unable to reply, even those who will never read this... Mele Kalikimaka, merry Christmas, happy (now passed) Hanukkah, happy Kwanzaa, or Festivus or Saturnalia or Solstice or what have you, and may you have a prosperous, fruitful, and above all happy new year!
I promise it won't take me another one to finish the story. Though who knows what might be being worked on then?
With much love, your faithful, joyous, thankful writer,
~Medicshy
