Hello World · 10:13am Dec 23rd, 2014
This is - obviously - my first post, here at FimFiction.
So I think its the right approach to introduce myself.
I wont tell everything, though - privacy yknow.
Well then:
I am in my early thirties, male and i life in germany (as you may recognize, because of some funny spelling-errors).
Writing is a hobby of mine since... well years. Nothing popular or professional. So i will post stories here and not only lurking/reading.
Furthermore i am into Pen&Paper-RPG and LARP, actively playing for about sixteen years now. Even to the point where my friends and me organised some smaller LARP-Conventions and we are activly writing on a Sci-fi RPG. (Yes - bragging a bit, )
Reading mostly everything Fantasy or Sci-Fi-related. Playing Minecraft - a bit lesser lately. Drawing, painting figurines and so on. (The creative nerd with bad sport skills you know from school.)
I stumbled upon MLP about a year ago, litterally missioned by a true brony and good friend of mine. After the first awkward feeling - for watching a litle girls show with a buddy the same age as me - weared off, i started to love the show. (I think the first episode shown to me was "Luna Eclipsed" - but right after i started from scratch and went through the whole episodes, one at an evening.)
Its an amazing universe - and in comparision to most other shows - it has a really good morale. Like "staying true to you and your friends is more worth than winning" versus "you'll get it if you really want - and if you don't get it, you didn't fight hard enough" (Thinking the first wise, would definitly make the world a nicer place).
But even more then by the show, I was impressed by the fan-community. Think of all the music, animations, comics and stories out there. A show wich gives such a strong vision, wich brings people all over the world to make such things. This is truly amazing. And on the other hand - The fanbase expands the show-universe, filling loopholes, living up backround characters, and originates whole new story arcs and universes.
Last but not least, there is only this to say: I am happy to be here. And I hope I can drop some nice stories for you.
