Yes, I'm alive.
The doctor wants me to wait at least another week before trying anything serious in regards to writing, but he said I could start easing myself back into things. When I DO return, I will finish The Last Crusade.
I deleted my blogs and The Powers of Harmony Group due to a combination of a nervous breakdown and a panic attack. You see, in Summer I was diagnosed with moderate clinical anxiety and moderate depression, and it's been very hard to deal with. I've been on anti-depressant medication ever since, as well as regularly seeing a psychologist.
I'm happy to say that I'm now in remission.
The nervous breakdown was caused by a combination of stress, pain, and a negative reaction to the anti-depressant medication. I actually wound up deleting a LOT more than my blogs, but everything else has been restored. I apologize for the loss, but it is what it is. All I can do is promise you I won't do something like that again.
(Also, I'm exceedingly grateful to the people who helped me out when that happened. You know who you are. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.)
This was a very productive school term for me. I was accepted into the program that I wanted, and now have declared my major as Business and Marketing Education. I begin taking my core classes in the Spring, and the next step is starting the process of looking for an internship. I'm excited for the opportunities this will give me.
I apologize for my prolonged absence. I hope to return to writing soon. It's been a rough road, but thank you for sticking with me.
Happy Holidays, everyone.

Just glad to see that you're alright
Merry Christmas, and glad to hear that you're beating that depression! Maybe let finishing TLC be a Christmas gift to both yourself and to us, eh?
It's good to hear from you again

Glad to see you're getting better CS. Have a very merry Christmas.

Did you seriously just ask someone to disobey a doctor's orders? You should be shot.
We all want to see CS get back in the groove and the ideas flowing, but, with a near-crippling injury like this where it was physically impossible to write, disobeying the doctor would be vastly counterproductive. Never tell anyone to ignore what a medical doctor tells them directly.
C.S., it's great to hear from you again, and I sincerely hope that your remaining recovery time passes without further undue stress. Take your time and let the words come naturally when you are finally able to write again. Trying to force things never really works out.
Very glad to hear from you, especially when the news is pretty good.
2672563 ...no. I wouldn't ask him to disobey a doctor. I'm not stupid. But, I figure that, however belated, finishing TLC could be a gift for himself or somesuch.

I have seen dumber things on the Internet than that. There was no 'belated' in your original post, hence my jumping down your throat since Christmas is in just 2 days.
Working as a pharmacy technician, I have seen many an idiot involving medicine and doctors.
Those are really good news, CS. I'm glad to hear that you have gotten better.
2672780 My mom was a medical transcriptionist and teaches medical and business classes. She'd jump down my throat if she heard me suggest something like that!
Though, I see what you mean. Sorry.
Merry Christmas! Congratulations on the School stuff as well! :D
Merry Christmas. Congrats on school. Hope you find a good internship.
