Learn to love the writing, of telling a story that you want told, and not the recognition that comes with it. When skill and passion atrophy, write for yourself, and in time, you'll inspire others.

    Calling all my Former Proofreaders

This goes out to everyone who has helped me with my stories these past few years. Firstly, thank you so much, I could never have gotten as far as I have without you. You've been inspirational, a pick-me-up, and oftentimes good friends when it came to what I was writing and dealing with, as have all the fans who have read my works. Again, I thank you all for being there with me through

    Commissions and Rules

Should I take them? I have been contacted in the past concerning them, though decided against it at the time, and would be tickled pink if people actually wanted me to do such. However, I would likely have a few ground rules.

Well, after much consideration and chatting with writing friends and even a (very nice) site admin, I've finally done it.

I've blocked someone. I won't say their name, nor will I ask you to try and find out who they were: their identity is safe with me.

I don't feel better about doing this, but maybe I will, in time, once I realize I can stop worrying about what they have to say and instead can focus on more important things in life.

By the way, a reader of mine (leonz11) did some fiddling, and given a 6K-minimum per chapter, A Dragon's Journey could reach 1,128,981 words or more, seeing as my last few chapters have been longer than that by a good margin. That's incredible.

I'd like to thank you all for continuing to give me the inspiration to write this massive story. Without your support, I wouldn't have been able to come this far, nor possess the will to continue it to it's ultimate conclusion.

Hi. I'm that leonz11 he was talking about and Abramus was kind enough to tell me that chapters may be longer than that. If each were 7.5k per then the final word amount would reach 1 278 981 at it's total. If this is reached he will have written a novel longer than the 2nd longest book in the world! Congrats! (And before Abramus says that I said 3rd I looked again. It would be almost 25k words longer than the 2nd.)

What you need to remember is if someone's making you unhappy, you have every right to take steps to prevent them from contacting you. That doesn't make you a bad person. Far from it. If someone is harassing you that's wrong.

I've no interest into poking into things, just want to reaffirm the fact that if someone is bothering you, you're in the right for wanting them to stop.

Hopefully you start feeling better soon.

All I can say is, keep on keepin on man. You have a really good talent for writing and your stories are phenomenal. I hope I can see what happens next in ADJ when I get out of BT. Thanks for being one of, if not my favorite, author on fimfiction.

keep on keeping on. You have my full support. A Dragons Journey is an amazing story. I'd buy it if it ever came out in book form. especially if it was an e-book, for stuff like kindles.

Anyways, keep up the great work and I hope you get even better.

Sorry you got a frothing fan instead of all happy fans.
Points to you for holding out so long, more for them being your only one.
Do what you have to to keep yourself sane.

Blocking someone ain't easy. But as Popeye the Sailor always says, "I've hads all i cans stands and i can'ts stands no more!" I went through this too but for a very different reason. The fan made constant baseless accusations and offered no criticism even when i asked for it politely.

You called?

Haha, just kidding. But really, if someone's bothering you, don't let them. Make it to where they can't contact you, or just ignore them completely if you can do that.

2643838 Hard to do that when they're the first person to "review" my latest chapter.
