Ranting on your blog. How original!

So I had the pleasant experience of checking my feed, and reading a colorfully worded ultimatum that a user posted up in Twilight's Library. Putting some acknowledgement that your story has been featured on the front page in the story description will get your story voted down immediately! Take that la vache! That will teach you to use story descriptions for other then their stated purpose! I imagine this guy takes umbrage with people who advertise yard sales on telephone poles as well.

Since my stories get so little traffic, I decided to take down any reference to being briefly represented on the front page in Lily Valley Goes Shopping, and won't use them on future stories. The idea that my one dislike may have been that guy getting pissed off over such a tiny infraction of site rules, just makes me sad. I left it up on The Scent of Prey though, any excuse for a down vote on that thing is a good one. But I actually like Lily Valley Goes Shopping, and I want people to like or dislike it based on its merits, and not because some anal-retentive prick lovely person, can't stand even the slightest break in convention.

Personally, I don't care what extras you put in your story description, so long as it describes a story. What will earn you an automatic down vote is human in Equestria rape fantasies involving Applejack. Citizens of the internet, exercise authority over your own imagination and just ask her nicely, I'm sure she'll give you a chance.

It wouldn't hurt if you shaved every once in awhile either. She may be an apple farmer, but she has standards too.

Chapter two of "Siege" will be out in a week or so. I know a lot of people are withholding judgement on it, because it's just too early to tell whether or not it will suck. I completely understand your worry. Not too many people are going to attempt a T-rated lesbian, background pony Genghis Khan story with snowball fighting, and even fewer will make it work. New writers suck, We all know that. Just remember, no matter what form a story may take, it is art, and it deserves its day in court.

Unless you mess with Applejack of course...
