Goodbye Windigos

Chancellor Puddinghead looked out,
Onto the other rulers,
When the Windigos blew snow about,
Making everything much cooler,
Smart Cookie tried with all her might,
To show her leader reason,
But when the Windigos were in sight,
The rulers went on teasin',
Clover the Clever had her fill,
Of Princess Platinum's whining,
She decided it was better still,
To keep the Friendship Fire shinning,
She called over Smart Cookie to her side,
And also Private Pansy,
They became good friends in a short time,
But their leaders were still in a tizzy,
Commander Hurricane declared,
He'd rule over all the ponies,
Chancellor Puddinghead then dared,
To call the Commander a big phony,
Princess Platinum called them dolts,
And laughed right in their faces,
The three continued their revolt,
As the ice froze them in their places,
The three became blocks of ice,
As the wind blew stronger,
Clover the Clever said it was nice,
That the leaders could no longer,
Argue amongst themselves for days,
Creating trouble for other ponies,
And the new three friends laughed away,
As the wind outside kept blowing,
Then a wondrous thing occurred,
As the friends laughed together,
A fire was born from their kind words,
That brought out the good weather,
It shined high above the world,
Freed the rulers from their prison,
The rulers danced, the rulers twirled,
Glad that the ice had risen.

I only read "Trotting in a Winter Wonderland." It was ok. Could be better, TBH. You don't always follow the rhyming scheme, and that bothers me a bit. For example:
Nothing in that verse rhymes. It's supposed to be a basic ABAB rhyme scheme (Brown/snow man/town/No man).
3548549 I followed the structure pretty close to the original song which had a similar slant rhyming scheme which means a rhyming scheme that follows a certain format but rhymes in a slant pattern (with the end syllables sounding similar). I think that the songs get better as you go through the collection. I took a little bit more time on some than on others. I'll probably go back and add more details to the songs later, especially now that there is another Hearth's Warming Eve episodes with more details about how the actual holiday is celebrated.
