"Hello? This thing on? Dang new-fangled laptop, how do ya... is that... maybe if Ah..."
*Crash* *Thud*
"Dag-nabit!"
"Applejack? What was that noise? And why are you in here?"
"Oh, howdy there Twi, Ah was just tryin' ta figure out how ta work this here laptop."
"Author's laptop? Why?"
"Well, in this here letter he sent-- Letter? Let me see it."
"Oh. Ooh. Oh, this explains a lot. No wonder he's been gone so long.
"Yea, that's what Ah said. Anyways, do ya think ya could help me with what he asked?"
"Sure thing, Applejack."
"Thank ya kindly, Twilight."
"This was really giving you that much trouble? You just press this button here."
"Oh. Well then, now Ah feel kinda dumb."
"Don't worry about it, Applejack, I only know this because I'm around computers so much."
"Howdy there all you internet folks, this is Applejack. As ya'll probably already know, Author, or Ah guess ya'll know him as 'InfiniteBrony' hasn't really been around much lately. Well, just earlier today we got a letter from him, explainin' where he ran off ta."
"Apparently, Author's father was hospitalized recently, and he was called out of town for a while ta take care of his Pa's affairs while he was indi-- inda--... uh, Twi? What's this word here?"
"'Indisposed', Applejack."
"Thanks, Twi. While his Pa was 'Indisposed'. He says that it shouldn't be too much longer, and he should be back in a couple of days. He also wanted me ta let all of ya'll following him an' his stories why he hasn't updated in a while. He wanted ta apologize an' let everypony know he hadn't forgotten about ya'll."
"Oh shoot, is that the time? Sorry ya'll, but Ah gotta go. Can ya take it from here, Twilight?"
"Sure, Applejack. You go ahead."
"Thanks a bunch."
"Anyways, as Applejack was saying, Author sends his regards and apologizes. In his letter he also asked us to mention that the next chapter of his story might not be out for a while because he has some other projects to work on too, like a chapter for some 'great summer collab' or something, as well as a 'MLP RPG game'. What the hay is that anyways? Oh well."
"And lastly, in the Post Script he asked me to forward him any questions any of you might have. So if any of you want to know anything go ahead and ask me and I'll try and get a hold of him for you. Thanks for listening, I guess. Goodbye."
Wow, that Twi is really on the ball when using computers.
Alright, go ahead.
*Steel moves aside, Twilight quickly taking his place on the chair. She looks over the keyboard and places her hoof on it, easily covering half the keys.*
You could use your horn.
...Or your magic.
*Twilight looks at the keyboard and squints her eyes, a purple aura appearing around her horn, while another similarily colored aura bends around the keyboard. The room slowly fills with the sound of clicking keys.*
Good, good! You can type without breaking my keyboard!
Well you've seen the keyboard, right?
Twilight's hoof covered half the keys. Yours isn't much smaller...
...What about them? They're flesh-and-bone constructs with feathers growing off them that-
Yeah yeah, spare me the Biology lesson, Einstein, just let me use it!
*A thud catches the pair's attention, and they both turn to face a collapsed Twilight layed out on the floor, her breathing quick and hard.*
Holy crap, Twilight! What happened?!
Twi'!
*The two quickly run to her side as Twilight rolls onto her stomach, holding her head.*
You're ok? Nothing's broken in your head?
Well...alright.
*Steel turns to the computer screen, seeing a neat wall of text along it. He moves over to the chair and takes a seat, reading over the text.*
Wow...an essay on Canterlot politics...well, half of one at least.
Very good for a first try, though! I'm impressed! It takes a lot to use magic and calculate what to say in an essay, and this is impressively written! Concise, informative...extremely messy near the end...last sentence is completely illegible.
Well, as long as you take it slow, you should be able to use this very efficiently.
Woah, wait a sec Da-
*Steel gets slammed off the chair as Dash takes his place on the chair. She stretches out her wings and places the tips on the keys, then begins typing, sticking her tongue out in concentration.*
AT LEAST LET ME GET OFF THE CHAIR INSTEAD OF TACKLING ME!
