My Writing Style/ Skills

This entry is really for those who question my writing skills.
I try to write to write stories in basic writing styles like in most modern books. Yet, as I try, a lot of you guys say I need to work on my writing skills. If you say, I need to work on it I want to know what's wrong with it. Instead of you saying a need to work on I don't know what your talking about and I get thumbs down from people who read my stories.
Other than that, writing is an art that can only be crafted with experience over time. Till than I write stories for the stories than figuring out the grammar. I'd like you to see that too. I'm not saying that because I'm selfish, I'm saying that cause I'm still new to writing and I need to know what you guys like and want.
Speaking of which I'm looking for a proofreader, if you recommend the group then I tried and just got lost. So if you guys have the time then I need someone, anyone, with experience to help proof read my current and future stories, because I apparently dont now jack about writing (despite love doing it.)

If you understand this and help me, I'll write the way you guys want me to write.
