The Nerd awakening

I really need to get this off my chest, so here it goes:
So if you've been hanging around the internet today you may have found out that today was a rather important day for geek culture because of this:

I'll admit that I'm a big Star Wars fan, since I was raised on episode IV and the prequels, and my first FPS videogame was Star Wars Republic Commando. And seeing this trailer made me happy. I liked the soccer droid, I liked the crossguard lightsaber, and I loved the new stormtrooper helmets. I don't know John Boyega's skill as an actor, he's the african english (I'm hesitant on using the word black) playing the stormtrooper at the begining, but it's nice to know that Lando's not alone. I don't even need to talk about the Millenium Falcon or about John William's score, I'm sure those speak for themselves. So I want to know what you, my followers, actually thought about this new entry to the Star Wars franchise?

Gotta admit, I've always been kinda skeptical about those new movies...same goes for the last three.
Still, after only seeing the special effects in this trailer, I guess the only tragedy is having to wait a whole more year for this thing.
