[STORY] Looking Up (co-written with ScootaWriter)

What? I've written a new story? What madness is this?! But it's true; ScootaWriter managed to kick my butt into gear long enough for the both of us to write up a quick little story. It's nothing special, admittedly, but I think it's still significant in the fact that I just might actually start writing more consistently after this. (Hopefully.)

Anyway, the story is called Looking Up, and we'd both very much appreciate it if you all gave it a read and tell us what you thought of it. After all, between the two of us, we're always looking to improve. I'm already in the process of writing a few other short stories as well, and with any luck, those will be out before too long.
