Don't worry, I'm not going dark again!

In fact the current chapter i'm working on is sitting at 6k words but I do want to give a word of warning that in a month's time dawntrail will drop and while I'll still try to update my stories still, the new expansion will have the majority of my attention. So with that said, I'll hopefully have the new chapter out within a few days!

    You guys cool with that?

My annual "I'M NOT DEAD!" Post plus story idea

It's the classic story of my little pony but told in a way you may have never read before...

Six human teenagers, a power hungry sorceress, and a legend of the mare in the moon...

Twila Sparks, a young girl at the age of 14 with a hobby in witchcraft.

Applan Jackson, a 16yr old farmer girl with a little sister and a big brother.

Public Poll: Rush the game or not? · 7:47pm Nov 26th, 2014

As it stands, I have everything I need more or less to complete the game minus a few sprite sets but I am holding off on doing so on the grounds that I want to publish a High Qaulity game.

However, in the interest of appeasing to the players, I "can" complete the game using basic tilesets but the result would look horrible and nothing like my original vision for the game.

HD paralax maps would continue to be made for the game and updated with such as time goes on but players who already played the game once may not want to start over from scratch just for an HQ version which is a lingering fear that they may get a bad first impression.

So I made a poll:

http://goo.gl/forms/2Ya1FLJk3F

Vote here and tell me what you want, the poll will end in a month's time and then I will tally the votes and go from there.

Please note that if the poll weighs in favor of using basic tilesets it will still take some time to finish the game but far less than it would at the current speed.

Don't rush it, I'd rather wait for a quality product then quickly received something half done

You never, EVER wanna rush a game. Yes, it'll get it out faster, but that won't make it good. Take your time. Work on what needs to be worked on. The reason games get horrible ratings and reviews is because the developer just wanted to give it to the people already.

And I can also guarantee that if somebody tells you they want the game now, they'll end up tearing it apart with bad critique. If they have to wait, they might complain because of being impatient, but they'll be happier in the end with the better quality.

DO NOT RUSH! defense is showing blitz.

seriously tho yeah don't rush it. I can honestly say I've never seen a single game that was good when rushed. if you can get it done sooner at the same quality then go for it, but if ANY quality needs to be lost to release sooner do not do it.

besides think of it like this. if you release a bad game because of rushing it you will have those fucking trolls tossing it in your face and that will make you upset and ruin motivation on the games final release.
