I've been in a bit of a trick. I have two stories that I have been working on, Reflections and a new Fallout Equestrian fanfic. Unfortunately I can't do both at the same time, I really want to though. Anyway the whole idea behind this post is to let everyone know that there will be an update hopefully this week, weather it is a new chapter of Reflections or a new story is unknown. At this moment it is a bit off a coin toss as to which I shall update first. But until then I shall leave you with a short story from a collection of my short stories I have been unable to get published, enjoy.
Halo
A relic of the past, a small diner standing in a ruined city, on a block surrounded by rubble. The irradiated sunrise casts a sick yellow green glow over the landscape. Clicking interrupts the relative silence of the diner, alerting to the presents of irradiated material. The table had a somberness blanketing it's three equine occupants.
"It's been a long journey." Becky's strangely melodic voice breaks the silence that collected in the room.
"Yeah." Brother Sharp says.
"It's almost over," hunched over, Sundance says, "or at least for me." With that silence, fell once again. The he turns and wretches over the back of the bench, after a while he turns around, blood drips down his chin. It was a while before anyone spoke again.
"Beautiful sunrise..."
"They said that before it was even more beautiful. When Celestia raised it, before the bombs dropped."
"I wish I could have seen that."
"It doesn't matter any more. She'so been gone for a long time, they both have."
"That's the problem with you, Sundance, you are always such a pessimist."
"It comes with dying, damn it!" Silence returns to the table.
"Its been good knowing you Sundance." Says Brother Sharp as he leaves, after a few minutes Becky joins him. As Becky leaves she drags her hoof over Sundance's shoulders. After a moment, Sundance gets up, contemplating the pistol on the table, one bullet in the chamber. Depressed, he resigns himself to his fate, taking the gun in his weakened white magic, he bites the bullet. A halo of irradiated viscera explodes from the back of his head and splatters on the wall. Like the halo from an angel, his blood encircles his now lifeless head.
Yikes. Dramatic and depressing. I love it. Really good work for a short story. And, not to discourage you from writing another story, but if you do make sure you manage your time wisely. Don't do what I did and try writing more then 2 at a time.

Ok, thanks, I'll make note of that. Don't worry, I'm not that ambitious. My friends are.
2612997 haha. Yeah. I mean, if you have the time to spare then go for it. If you know you are going to get busy then don't do it. But, I wish you luck :)
