All 78 episodes on 2 discs, the translation is just as solid as the Hulu version, the subtitles are on by default, and they even translated the mid-episode character cards.
With my quest/race to get a Rainbow S on all of Freedom Planet 2's stages, my creativity lit up like a bonfire again, and I started crafting an alternate ending of sorts for the past week.
That story is now complete, and posted in its entirety over on AO3.
I haven't seen the Boom series either, but I've heard it's somewhere between okay and good. Only played the 3DS game (character control and level design are good, still not worth it), and I've heard about the Wii U version (story is bare, pretty glitchy, and the gameplay consists mostly of beat-'em-up combat that is so simplistic that you're better off sticking to Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, or even Sonic Unleashed... or a Batman: Arkham game, God of War, really anything else).
2611945 The t.v. show is decent, if you don't mind sitcom comedy type of shows. It has an animation style similar to the games, and has all the voice actors and actresses from Colors and Generations. The only major downside so far, is that the new character Sticks has yet to be given a proper backstory. She's a part of Team Sonic, and believes in the law of the jungle, but other than that, there's not much to her.
And what better way to celebrate than by playing his debut game, Sonic 2!
... as Sonic alone.

2611931 That a shot from Sonic Boom? Still haven't seen any episodes yet. Is it any good?

2611977 Yeah, I'm hoping we'll return to a Generations-level of awesome sooner or later.
I was never a Sonic fan.
