I've finally got a decent internet access to the site and things are looking good so far so I just wanted to say please, please, pleeeeeease don't make the "Cards Against _____________" a thing. Plz. For the love of god, it will only get worse from here on out. And furthermore, it will most likely ruin the original game for many of us. God knows how much I grew to loathe Fallout due to Fallout: Equestria (I got better when I read Pink Eyes but that's about it). So yeeeeeeah, just let this die. There's already another fic out there, and now another one, so plz, plz, plz, let it die.

I fear the new apocalypse of bad bandwagon fics is on the horizon. I know I'm not one the people who's helping these fics, because I couldn't care less about the actual game, so I have no interest in the fics that are using it.
While I don't know why Fallout: Equestria would ruin your enjoyment of Fallout (unless you're referring to all the spin-off fics that are still appearing on here to this day, in which case, I understand), because, the main fic was what got me interested in Fallout to begin with.
But getting back to these fics which shall remain unnamed, we'll just have to hope that common sense, intelligence and good writing prevail.

I skimmed the one that started the "trend", and was disappointed. The fact that it soared in popularity just stoked the fire enough for others to try their own hand at writing the theme. I think I may have incurred a minor concussion from hitting my head against the wall in disgust. Thank goodness I don't have much "upstairs" to severely injure.

It's mostly that a bandwagon's acceptability is directly proportional to how good the stories that make up the bandwagon are. Quality tends to fall off sharply the more popular the bandwagon gets, and the more people write stories for the sole purpose of getting a "slice of the pie." So no bandwagon does anyone much good past a certain point.
