30 rounds 30 cans · 7:42pm Nov 17th, 2014
Yesterday I ended up driving up to Suches, so me and Gramps could go shooting. We only brought two guns due to lack of space. When we got there I immediately took out the AR 15, loaded three mags, each with 30 FMJ rounds, while Gramps loaded his 22 Winchester pump action rifle.
We both set up 30 cans about 20 yards out. My goal was to perfect my accuracy, so each round had to be a hit. After a while I got closer and closer to reaching my accuracy goal until every couple rounds was a hit. It was good enough and we had run out of ammunition, so we packed up and went. The overall trip was fun and I know there is still plenty of room for improvement. Today Gramps and I tried to enroll me back in public school, but we didn't go very far since he wasn't my legal guardian. Gramps had adopted my mother at 16. I still have to get shots, especially my tetanus shot. I had gotten one as a newborn but now I'm three years due since you need one every ten years. I'm surprised I'm not dead yet.
