(We see slowly zoom into Canterlot, zipping through the streets as a gentle snow blows, families happily going about their last minute shopping, before finally entering the Canterlot Theater, where all manner of ponies, rich and poor, from all walks of life, whisper to themselves as the curtain slowly rises on stage, revealing a dark forested background. In the center stage is Scootaloo but her coat is painted yellow and she has a short pink wig on.)
Scootaloo: (looking about with a scared expression, singing) Lalala… la la…la la.
FROM DEFENDER2222, CREATOR OF ‘THE MANY SECRET ORIGINS OF SCOOTALOO’, ‘THE GOD SQUAD’, AND ‘THE ABSTRACT SAGA’
(We cut to Shining Armor, sporting a beard and wearing a prisoner's uniform, knocks on a door. Twilight opens the door and stares at him)
Shining: Please… I’m so cold.
Twilight: You can only stay the night. I know who you are… you are Jean Valjean.
(The scene switches to Shining helping other ponies pull a ship onto a beach. Applejack, sporting a Capricorn tail and wearing a military uniform, watches on sternly)
A PAST… HE CAN NOT ESCAPE
(We see Shining, dressed a bit nicer, escaping into the shadows, Applejack screaming for someone to stop him)
A FATE
(We see Cadence, wearing a worn dress that hides her wings, in a factory, surrounded by other ponies. She is cowering as Mr. Cake moves towards her)
Mr. Cake: Well my mare… on your way
Cadence: (sung but not seen) I had a dream my life would be!
(We see Applejack watching on as Cadence is thrown into the street. Cadence is utterly terrified, begging and pleading)
Cadence: Help me please, I have a filly!
SHE CAN NOT CHANGE
Cadence: (now visible and singing, her mane cut short as she sits in a dank alley, sobbing) So different from this hell I’m living! So different now from what it seems…
(Shining, now dressed in a fine suit, comes upon her and places her on his back, racing her back to his home. Cadence looks out of it and he strokes her mane)
Shining: Where is your filly?
AND THE DREAM
Cadence: (again unseen, singing) Life has killed that dream…
OF A NEW TOMORROW
Shining: (unseen, singing) One day more…
(Shining approaches Scootaloo, tipping his hat to her. She smiles as he does so)
Shining: Cosette?
(We see Shining riding in a carriage, looking about nervously)
Shining: (singing) Another road another destiny. On this never ending road to Calgary…
(We see Applejack approach Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich, both wearing outlandish costumes. She glares at them and they grimace sheepishly)
Applejack: Where is the filly Cosette?
FROM THE AUTHOR WHO NEVER ACTUALLY SAW Les Misérables
(A shot of Scootaloo dissolves, revealing Fluttershy wearing a beautiful dress. Nearby Spike and Rarity watch her)
Spike: Who is that?
Rarity:… Cosette.
(Fluttershy and Spike begin to sing to each other in a beautiful garden. Rarity is in the background, watching, heartbroken)
Fluttershy: Tomorrow you’ll be world’s away…
Spike and Fluttershy together: but with you my life has started…
Rarity: (dejected) But he never saw me there….
(We see flashes of Rainbow Dash and Iron Will standing together, mustering up a gathering of ponies in the streets of Prance and firing on some guards.)
COMES THE MUSICAL PARODY EVENT OF THE SEASON
(We see a shot of Applejack waving her fan tail blade at Shining. It cuts to her addressing her troops)
Applejack: (singing) One more day till revolution, we shall nip it in the bud! We’ll be ready for those ponies, they will wet themselves in blood!
(Rainbow Dash, Iron Will, and Spike are rallying their ragtag fighters just behind a crude barricade made in the street)
Rainbow Dash, Iron Will, and the Rebels: (singing) One more day to a new beginning! Let the flag of freedom fly! Do you hear the ponies sing!
(Shining is standing with Spike, eyes wide as he stares down an entire battalion of soldiers. Everyone is tense, nervous, waiting for the other to make the first move)
Soldier:… CHARGE!
SHINING ARMOR
(Everything we see now is backstage at the play. First is Shining Armor dressed in Fluttershy's dress. Twilight shakes her head in annoyance and Shining grimaces as he realizes what he's wearing)
Entire Cast: Will you join in our crusade?
APPLEJACK
(Applejack turns around and hits Applebloom with the fake capricorn tail, sending her flying from the wings of the stage, right through a scene of Fluttershy and Spike singing)
Entire Cast: Who will be strong and stand with me?
PRINCESS CADENCE
(Twilight is banging her head against a table while Cadence looks at her torn costume, her wings exposed)
Entire Cast: Just beyond the barricade-
FLUTTERSHY
(Fluttershy tilts her head as Big Macintosh, dressed as the Phantom of the Opera, swings on a rope overhead)
Entire Cast: -is there a world you long to see?
SPIKE THE DRAGON
(Spike struggles to work up the courage to kiss Fluttershy on stage, it clear that is the last thing he wants to do)
Entire Cast: Do you hear the ponies sing?
WITH CHEESE SANDWICH
(We see Cheese Sandwich dressed in a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses, a surfboard tucked under his arm. Twilight just stares at him and begins to tear up her script)
Entire Cast: Say do you hear the distant drums?
AND PINKIE PIE
(Pinkie fires a party cannon and every audience member blinks as they find themselves dressed in perfect replicas of Prance period costumes)
Entire Cast: There is a life about to start when tomorrow comes!
A Musical Parody

Synopsis: Every year Canterlot puts on a play on Hearth's Warming Eve to celebrate the season. And while the traditional Founders Play will still be done, this year Princess Twilight Sparkle, at the suggestion of Princess Celestia to 'liven things up', has decided to put on a second play: the musical Les Petits Poneys. A tale of redemption, loss, and love, Twilight just knows that it will be a hit. But things rarely go as planned. With Twilight changing up roles to make the play more species-friendly, many of the actors failing to memorize their lines, ad libbing that totally changes the story, perfomrers using the play to achieve their own personal goals and desires, and other plays somehow bumbling their way into the production, this show will be one to truly remember.
Starring Twilight Sparkle, Shining Armor, Princess Cadence, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Cheese Sandwich, Spike, Iron Will, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and with guest appearances from many of your favorite characters, Les Petits Poneys will be the comedic event of the season.

Actually, I've never seen the play or movie in full but I'm researching it heavily and I MAY rent the movie at some point. But right now I like the idea that I have only a general idea and will get things wrong... it fits with the idea that the play is going to go completely off the rails (let's just say that Twilight will have to totally restructure things when some cast members don't... die when they're suppose to).
This is going to end beautifuly. Also in fire. Can never forget the fire!

He's not parodying Les Miserables, he writing a mocumentary abut some one parodying Les Miserables.
That said, if anyone could parody something,g without seeing the source material, and make it good; it'd be this guy.

Wow, this is going to be amazing! :3 Sadly the only time I "watched" Les Miserables is when I watched the Nostalgia Critic review of it.
Haven't watched Les Miserables, still this sounds amazing. Poor Twilight, I fear for everyone's sanity.
Something to wonder though is how many tables will Twilight destroy in her descent into insanity.
